Cassini flyby

    For those of you trying to catch the Cassini flyby, Using JPL's
ephemerides, the following are estimates that may be of help:
    Closest approach 0328 UT 18 Aug. ~1200 km above Pitcairn Island in
the South Pacific. Cassini enters earth shadow 03:31, exits 03:59. These
estimates do not consider atmospheric refraction. Approximate magnitude
from southeastern U.S. at entry (below horizon) 7.8, at exit 10.3. This
assumes standard magnitude of 3.5 for Cassini (1000km, 50%illum.) which,
like the rest of these estimates, are at best a slightly educated guess.
