Hi all,

As most of you have noticed, SeeSat-L has been the victim of spam
(money making scam). Somebody sent spam to the exploder
(SeeSat-L@lists.satellite.eu.org) and this way it was forwarded to all
subscribers. We do not give out the subscriber's addresses, in case you
were wondering, not even to regular subscribers.

Currently, there's not much we can about this spam, except for hope that we are
not on a 'list' that is used by many spammers. If the situation gets
out of hand, we will limit submissions to subscribers. This will mean
that each subscriber can only send message from an account that has
the same address as the one he receives messages from.

By mid-August we should be running SeeSat-L from a computer that has
spam-filters installed.

Again, we not approve of spam, and the message was sent without our
knowledge.

Cheers?
