Hello,

I made an observation this evening of the Forte/Pegasus XL third
stage.(1997-47B/24921)

It seems to bee a nice flasher with 3 secundary maxima between the primary
maxima. The primary maxima were relatively bright(mag +4) for a Pegasus rocket.

These are my timings of the primary maxima:

5.85
5.91
5.80
6.04
5.80
5.91
5.93
5.86
5.89
6.02

I have observed other Pegasus third stages and they are(were) probably all
flashing, but this one seems to be the most interesting one.

BTW: the post boost stage from the Start 1/Zeya launch(1997-10B/24745) is a
very bright object. It is a naked eye object of mag +2.(when conditions are
good)

Greetings,
