Iridium 46 Flash
Sat, 4 Jul 1998 00:28:02 -0600 (MDT)

As i was out checking the late evening sky i noticed one bright flash, a -2
magnitude to the east, a bit south of due east around 30 degrees above the
horizon. The time was 05:33:49 UTC 4 Jul. There was just the one 1x flash
and i didn't have my binoculars to try and see it any further flashes were
made. When i came inside, i checked and found that Iridium 46 was on it's
northbound track at a height of 28 degrees at that time. I know that Iridium
46's status is unknown but if it were tumbling there would have been more
flashes like the known tumblers would there not?
