Observing Program of the BWGS

The Belgian Working Group Satellites has been active in collecting flash
period measurements since 1987. Our priority list contains over 300
satellites.=20

New in the E-mail archive : Overview of BWGS program (including recent=20
observations)

Send a message with Subject: archive get program/program.*
  to SeeSat-L-request@cds.plasma.mpe-garching.mpg.de
Send a message with Subject: archive get program/satjul97.txt
  to the same address, to get accompanying notes by Kurt Jonckheere=
 (Satorama).
Send a message with Subject: archive get ppas7/ppas7-02.obs
  to the same address for the latest update to PPAS 7, containing all=20
  new PPAS-observations.
Send a message with Subject: archive get ppas7/ppas7-01.obs=20
  to the same address to receive the first update to PPAS 7

If you don't have the latest version of our archive of Photometric
Periods of Artificial Satellites (version 7), you can obtain it by :
 Send a message with Subject: archive get ppas7/ppas7.txt
  to SeeSat-L-request@cds.plasma.mpe-garching.mpg.de
  to get the introductory text about the PPAS7
 Send a message with Subject: archive get ppas7/ppas7.uue

Our observing programme can be found in the Program.rob file.
It is subdivided in categories, the codes of which can be found below.

b       flashing object for beginners
d       difficult to measure
S       steady object, potentially flashing in the future
?       flash period is unknown or uncertain
-       long flash period (>40 s)
!       top-priority object
	regular object
x       DRA object

89- 86 B !     20306/Meteor 3-3 R/B,  flashing according to Leo Barhorst=7F
91- 46 A !     21533/Gorizont 23 geosat with slowly decreasing period !
91- 59 B !     21667/C1 Kosmos 2154: Accelerating !
93-  1 B !     22308/C1 Kosmos 2230, has accelerated in May 97
