The officials said they were not worried about reports from the astronauts early last week of a leaking cloud of debris from the outside of the Spektr module. Viktor D. Blagov, the deputy mission controller, said the debris appeared to be coming from a radiator on the outside of Spektr. He said there was no reason to think dangerous chemicals were swirling inside the damaged module. No debris has been seen in recent days.
