Finally absolutely clear skies at this location 30 miles SW
of Washington, D.C. this evening at 01:44 UTC,7/3/95 to see
our second sighting of Mir/Atlantis go across the western
horizon at about 30 degrees. Maximum brightness was about 0
magnitude because of the poor sun angle. We were provided a
nice prewarm-up show by 21701 UARS at around 01:30 UTC and
was surprised at it's brightness of about -1 magnitude.
I noted a few days ago that the South Eastern Virginia
Satellite Watcher Group http://jebyrd.larc.nasa.gov has gone
off the www. Does anyone know of an alternate address?
