I have had contact with the pilot now, and the initially quoted time was in error by one hour and should be ~3:18 UT. The flight log shows the aircraft passed Khartoum around 3:25 UT. On the images, Khartoum can be seen in front of the (southbound) aircraft. This also confirms that my orbital estimate for Zuma appears to be correct. In my orbit estimate for the upper stage, it would pass over east Africa ~3:15 UT, i.e. the times match to within minutes. I will post the images on my blog later this week. - Marco > > - Marco > > > ----- > Dr Marco Langbroek - SatTrackCam Leiden, the Netherlands. > e-mail: sattrackcam_at_langbroek.org > > Cospar 4353 (Leiden): 52.15412 N, 4.49081 E (WGS84), +0 m ASL > Cospar 4355 (Cronesteyn): 52.13878 N, 4.49937 E (WGS84), -2 m ASL > Station (b)log: http://sattrackcam.blogspot.com > Twitter: _at_Marco_Langbroek > ----- > _______________________________________________ > Seesat-l mailing list > http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-l _______________________________________________ Seesat-l mailing list http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-lReceived on Mon Jan 08 2018 - 14:36:24 UTC
