    Hi:

I've been reading patents and came across this one talking about processing a 33 bit Baker pseudo random word signal
    from a satellite.
US 3529291 Synchronized sequence detector, US Navy, Dec 4, 1967, Sep 15, 1970

Any idea which satellite that was? I'm assuming it was Navy related.
A possibility is a satellite that contains an IR color TV camera and is looking at the ocean.
Where was the NOSS system developed or if this is some other satellite where was it developed?
Is it possible that NOSS has IR sensors?
