    NOTES:
    -------
    (1) The decison earlier to no longer use video for positional work
has been cancelled. The Nikon lens is unreliable as it produces
ghost images from anything brighter than about magnitude 2. In
addition the focal length tends to change depending on where the
lens is pointing which causes havoc in the reduction program
APEX. It will still be used in some cases as it has some good
        points .

    (2) The above positions are a mixture of CCD and video - generally
video observations have code 39 ( number between dec and magnitude
        info).

    (3) The Jupiter lens has a rather "soft" focus - maybe an IR filter
        will improve matters.

    (4) Re the two unknowns reported 25 Jan. The high altitude one appears to have
been a ghost image of Alpha Centaurus ( mag 0.31) which was at bottom of
field of view. Mike McCants identified the second one ( found by Kevin to
be in earths shadow if a circular orbit) to be Echostar 15 Tk, #36794
         10 034C in an orbit with e=0.56, n=4.59 rev/sday and i = 49.5 deg. Thanks
Mike - I was sure it wasnt a bird ...

    Cheers
    Greg
