    Hi all,
On 2 Jan 2012, using consistent forecasts by both Heavens-Above and Calsky, I was routinely watching 2 Iridium satellites due to flare just after passing by Persei :
    18h 36.0 UTC Iridium 49 a46° h55° mag-1
    18h 39.1 UTC Iridium 26 a42° h58° mag-2
Iridium 49 flared as expected, while Iridium 26 remained barely if at all visible to the naked eye at the predicted time. I I took 2 consecutive photos (of 15 seconds duration each), showing Iridium 26 steady at about magnitude 5. No flaring at all.
    Most surprising !
    Regards
