Seen naked eye at 12:59:29 at mag +2, reached a maximum of +1 at 12:59:34. Faded regularly (phase angle) until re-brightening to a second maximum of nearly +0 (compared to Vega and Mercury) at 13:00:16. I would not describe any of the activity as flaring.
