Using Celestron NexGen GOTO mounting controlled by NexRemote
program.
Meade DSI Pro II Monochrome CCD camera without filters,
using integration times of 5 sec min to 25 seconds maximum
depending on brightness of sky in particular area. No image
processing done, but some done automatically in the auto reduction
software. Equipped with video finder for initial star alignment use.
Used with 4 inch SKYWATCHER refractor-model 1025-fitted with home
made focal reducer to give an f/2.56 system. Image scale is 6.73 arc
sec/pixel and field of view 84.8 x 63.2 arc minutes. Shows 14-15th
magnitude stars in real time with reasonably good conditions.
Exposure time to nearest second inserted into image FITS header
from PC clock which is periodically checked against GPS signal
generated by Motorola ONCORE module.
HEAVENSAT V2.32 used "real time" and APEX Windows V2.3.1.20100903
used to generate predictions.
Processed automatically with APEX but sometimes manual processing.
Correct identifications cross checked in HEAVENSAT using "optical
measurements" option

(1) Purpose of session was to confirm PAN - (achieved) and to try and locate
the unknown seen last time I observed. Unfortunately clouded out about
30 minutes after I started observing so only managed to search about a
3 degree long strip west of Yamal 202. Will resume search when next I
observe - maybe tonight but cloudy at present.
