The sky got just clear enough, so I could see if XM-1 would flared up.
And looks like I wasn't disappointed, as I beleive I did observe XM-1 flare up. There was a star, near 21 Hya that seemed to bright, for stars listed near it. I also observed a bright star, a few minutes earlier where no bright star was shown to be. So unless I was seeing things, I did observe XM-1 flare up :)
I had to use binoculars, to observe it, as wasn't going to setup my gear, since the sky has been cloudy most of the night, and has since clouded up again.
Time of flare observed was 6:15 UTC ( Jan 31 )
I read on the FCC site, they are using XM-1 as a spare satellite.
