At the time of writing there is a photo of an ISS solar transit on http://www.spaceweather.com I am sure many if not all of us can sympathise with Laurent's tips for observing. Fortunately with reference to tips 4 and 5 I now have intermittent access to a relative's location a little removed the town area, and this may assist in the problem of strange behaviour consisting of peering at the sky at odd angles with a pair of binoculars!- it also has the advantage of being further removed from light pollution than my home location.
