Thanks for the advice gentlemen. I have read your replies carefully and picked up a lot of info. I still have some research to do, given the links, but will do so in due course. My aim with this hobby is not pure intellectual curiosity but I believe my effort should add value to seesat members and in that sense it becomes a unique and rewarding experience, (knowing at least you helped find that "elusive" one) I am watching Greg's reports on southern hemisphere sightings very closely. Thanks to him as well for very sage advice some time ago.
