Notes:
--------
(1) USA 81 #21949 difficult since observed in very bright twilight in
the western sky. Only a few flashes seen and problems in seeing
background stars for position determination.
USA 102 #23031 was also seen but no reference stars seen - appeared
to be on time.
(2) USA 129 not moved yet.
(3) USA 186 now back in visibility - will get higher in elevation for
a while. Was a bit late on my predictions.
(4) Lacrosse 5 rocket observed at 6.3 degrees elevation max.
(5) Still to report - a lot of geostationaries plus strays seen as
well as Vanguard 1 and Vanguard 3 observed - Vanguard 1 was faint
whereas Vanguard 3 was a lot brighter. More with my report tomorrow.
(6) A faint unknown was seen and using Scott Campbells ELFIND program
I get the following orbit:
1 91057U 06018M 06018.84958912 0.00000073 00000-0 50000-4 0 00
2 91057 16.7060 119.4714 0005682 150.7036 180.0000 7.74099703 09
Using Scott's SATID I did not find a match in my nearly 9000
elements database so it looks like a real unknown, probably
related to an Ariane launch. I dont propose to try and get it
again as it is too faint and the observed arc too small to get
a good orbit.( Ill try but not too hard :-))
Cheers
Greg
