On January 16 I tried to find 04-539A and 04-846A with my CCD camera. Both were at ranges greater than 20,000 km which puts them at the limit of my system so was not surprised to be unable to find them on any of the exposures. However, following Greg's report of a possible sighting of 04-846A running about 10 minutes late I revisited the images and found very faint trails on my last three exposures. Thanks Greg.
