Hi All, I have been following the discussion on the transfer of TLE publication from OIG to Space-Track.org. Obviously, we are concerned how this will affect Heavens-Above and the user agreement seems to prohibit our publication of visibility predictions using the TLEs from Space-Track. Until now, we have obtained our TLEs from a number of sources, but primarily from OIG. We already have an account at Space-Track, and will be updating our scripts to obtain TLEs from their site in the near future. Our policy will be to apply for permission to publish predictions based on TLEs downloaded from Space-Track, and until permission is either given or explicitly refused, we will continue to publish. In the event of a refusal, we will have to look for other sources for our elements.
