    Hi all,

Lucille and I saw flashes from Molniya 3-44 around 23:52 UT in the head of
Draco. I saw only the first one, brief, blueish and strong (about mag 1). My
stopwatch froze, so no timing. Lucille saw the same flash plus another one about
45 sec later. The satellite was invisible between them. Sky was hazy, I had my
20x80 and Lucille her 8x40. Limiting mag of about 7.

Temp was about -23C with a wind chill of -33C.

    Dan
