Report time: January 21, 14:30 UTC 1993-068C (#22879) NAVSTAR 35 PAM-D SCC'S FINAL REPORT - prepared (very late) Jan 21, 01:04 UTC - shows the decay on: 20 January, 11:57 UTC +/- 01 minutes (05.6°S, 341.5°E) ascending over the Atlantic. MPM+REENTRY delivers with the ELSETs 04019.948... - 04020.151... ans SFX 129, ap 022 the decay on: 20 January, 11:55 UTC +/- 24 minutes (10.05°S, 335.07°E) also northbound over the Atlantic. Remarks: SCC'S final conclusion is identical with their 02 HOURS BEFORE DECAY prediction but this forecast had a decay window of +/- 05 hours ! The epoch of the last released ELSET was 03:39 UTC, more then 08 hours before decay. My and also SCC'S "problem" is that our decay times are roughly one half rev before perigee. A little bit peculiar..... Our 01 DAY BEFORE DECAY predictions were very near the finals.
