May I correct you: Mars Express is precisely in the planned orbit and will perform a apocenter lowering manoeuver in the afternoon. Assuming this works as planned, the first favourable passes over Beagle 2 will be on 6th/7th, depending on what you call favourable. Mars Express is and has been in the nominal mission orbit. Nothing was changed in this respect in order to speed up the search for Beagle 2. Let's keep our fingers crossed!
