    Along with what Leo wrote, another way, depending upon your 
    purposes and if you already have an element set, is to look 
    at line 1 (the line beginning with the number 1) in the 
    element set.  So, in the following, the COSPAR ID, "02061C" 
    (i.e., 02-061C or 02-61C), follows "27634U" in line 1:
    
    Shenzhou 4 OMd   4.0  2.0  0.0  5.5 d   10       363 x 348 km
    1 27634U 02061C   03012.83033959  .00119868  00000-0  90784-3 0   408
