Ted was kind enough to point out a possible error in my report.
Upon investigation it turns out I misidentified the star with with
the satellite had an appulse. I was using Skymap pro and had inadvertedly
inverted the image, thus inverting the asterism I was using to acheive identification. Revised observation follows.
