    Hi Alan and List,

I've taken a look at the upcoming Iridium 27 decay, and there's at
least a chance that this will decay over southern California this
evening at around 19:47 PST (3:47 UT on Feb. 1). This would be
on a northbound pass just west of Los Angeles (almost directly
over Malibu). The other thing favorable about this pass is that
it is just a few minutes after perigee. Unfortunately it's a bit
too long after sunset to be a sunlit pass, so it would only be
visible if it actually reenters at that time. Certainly worth a
look; it is absolutely crystal clear in southern California right
now with about 6 hours to go...
