It seemed about 0.5 seconds out. Considering the long transmission path and an interptred code (java) this delay does seems reasonable. It is possible to properly synchronize your computer clock with UTC using the NTP or SNTP protocol. You need a programme running in background. You will find some discussion on the USNO site.
