Purely by axccident I found a slow moving object, low in my NNE. The position observation in IOD format is given below. I was only using 7x50 binoculars, and the range is about 14000Km. I identified it using Findsat. Its path across my sky is at a maximum elevation of 86 degrees. I have in the past looked for various Molniyas at ranges nearer 4000Km, at culination or before and been completely unsuccessful! 21897 92 011A 8597 F 20020115121128700 27 25 0630400+224800 48 S+070 05 Tony Beresford -34.9638S, 138.6333E, 100m ASL ----------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe from SeeSat-L by sending a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@lists.satellite.eu.org http://www.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
