Liftoff was on schedule at about 0:30 UTC. If all goes according to the timeline on SpaceflightNow.com, if there is a "comet", it will be sometime after 7:05 UTC. I wrote 7:30, but that might be too late, given the T+6:35 time for spacecraft separation. So, anyone who's going to try to see it ought to start looking by 7:00 UTC (1:00 a.m. CST). Telstar 401 should start flashing for Texas sometime before 9:00 CST (maybe as early as 8:30?) tonight.
