Living at 34d43s 151d10e, I also hope for precision of the splash point! Realistically, I can see plenty of good sense in aiming for just south of Tasmania. Provided the entry is within half an orbit or so of target, north-east or south-west bound, not too much excitement should ensue. Absolutely vital is to avoid entry over North America - I'm sure the folks there would not be as tolerant of loud bangs and lights in the sky as Western Australians were some years ago, and the lawyers would have a picnic with suits for "I nearly died of fright" type stuff. Since my next relevant trans-pacific flight will be LA to Sydney early Monday 5th March US date, I'd like to request a reentry just off my track, a bit SSW of Hawaii, and when I'm awake to watch the show!
