    I don't think it's a satellite. Since the moon is lit by the sun, then if it 
    was a satellite it would also be lit by the moon. It appears as a black dot 
    to me. And the size of it to dosn't seem right.

    Seems doubtful it is a satellite. I estimate a velocity of 16 seconds per
    degree which would seem to indicate a height of 5000 miles (8km) or so. It
    seems like you can see a shape to the object. If you assume the object is
    1/200 the diameter of the moon, since the moon is about 1/2 degree, that
    would make the length about .2 miles square or 1000 feet by 1000 feet
    (300m^2).
