    I see that you have already been sent several good answers. I will
    just mention a couple that haven't been mentioned yet.
    
    Your local Radio Shack store should have several models of atomic
    clocks for less than $50US.
    
    I use AboutTime to sync my computer clock at boot up and every 20
    minutes thereafter. It can use several internet sources of accurate
    time and it does take into account the variable delay time through the
    internet. AboutTime is careware (free) and is available from:
