Using the above elset from Alan, it was 1 to 1.5 seconds early at 
01:16:34 UT on 19 Jan 01.  My best stopwatch GUESS as to the period
is about 30.5 seconds.  As it neared its northernmost point (rising
from the west), it was nearly steady in brightness.
