Report time 13:20 UTC
1970-085B (#04584) Meteor 1-6 R/B
I am still waiting for SPACECOM'S FINAL REPORT. Their last prediction - the
2 HOURS BEFORE DECAY message - prepared Jan 1, 2001, 10:17 UTC - predicted
1 January, 12:25 UTC +/- 02 hours (08.1°N, 247.5°E)
on a southbound pass after crossing the western US over the Pacific,
#04584 is a very nice decayer - in sharp contrast to our last two objects
(MAO 1 RB and Iridium 85) - and MPM + REENTRY shows with the last ELSETs
01001.304... - 01001.425... the decay on
1 January, 12:24 UTC +/- 07 minutes (07.52°N, 247.50°E)
on the same pass. SPACECOM and I could now be happy again with our prediction
models.
