(Sent to UseSat, copied to SeeSat to reach a wider readership. Please respond to UseSat.) As many have now heard, Geoff Perry, founder of the Kettering Group, died Tuesday. In my opinion, he embodied the finest qualities of the British amateur tradition and taught many of us, myself most definitely included, what it's possible to do with minimal resources, plus a lot of dedication and ingenuity. Is there any way to honor him, for example by establishing an annual Perry Prize for the best paper in his fields of interest? ----------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe from SeeSat-L by sending a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@lists.satellite.eu.org http://www2.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
