    My start time may not have been from the beginning of the 1x flashes.  Also, 
    there may have been an earlier series of 1x flashes around 03:10 UTC 17 
    January.  I believe that the phase change occurred around 03:22:30 +/- 10 
    secs 17 January.
    
    Flashes (~ +5.5 mag) were observed from 03:28 TO 03:33 as it passes just 
    below Rigel (200az 40 el).
