Another reasonable source of lat.long data is:

 http://www.mapblast.com

I have only checked it for my own site but, from my postal code alone, I get
a reasonable set of values.  It displays a map and you can move a cursor to
refine the location.  It does not agree exactly with my GPS-determined
postion but it is close enough for all but the most precise postion
determinations.
