Hi everybody, I observed 1½ hour ago a pass of Meteor 1-6 culminating at 30 deg. over the western horizon. It was moving very fast and flashing from mag 6 to mag 1 with a period of about 4 or 5 sec. I didn't time the exact photometric period but I did time the pass itself as being 2.5 sec early using the following elset : METEOR 1-6 1 04583U 70085A 99005.55758915 .01570184 -92982-6 39495-3 0 5484 2 04583 81.0927 355.6153 0004758 177.9957 182.1413 16.29013166550461 Timing was at 22:24:58 UTC +/- 0.5 sec -- Daniel Deak St-Bonaventure, Québec <dan.deak@sympatico.ca> 45.9483°N, 72.6539°W, 58 m., UTC-5:00
