The same has happened with Lunar Prospector.
In Satwk02.rpt both Lunar prospector and its Orbit Adjust motor were
given as no
longer in orbit.
What was ment was that the were no longer in orbit AROUND THE EARTH.
This weeks 'decay' of GEOTAIL on 19 Oct 1992 is just an administrative
decay to
'clean up' the USSPACECOM catalogue.
