Re: Shuttle & Mir tonight...

Saw STS & Mir again, low SE pass at 01/30 03:31 UT, this time the
shuttle was leading by about 41 seconds, vs. 30 seconds on the
previous orbit.  As expected, STS was about 2 mags brighter than
Mir, and much whiter.  Searched track a few minutes before pass using
7x50's, but didn't see Progress.  A correction to my previous post:  The
low elevation STS/Mir pass I saw one orbit earlier was in the southeast,
opposite the sun, not the southwest.
