Saw STS & Mir again, low SE pass at 01/30 03:31 UT, this time the shuttle was leading by about 41 seconds, vs. 30 seconds on the previous orbit. As expected, STS was about 2 mags brighter than Mir, and much whiter. Searched track a few minutes before pass using 7x50's, but didn't see Progress. A correction to my previous post: The low elevation STS/Mir pass I saw one orbit earlier was in the southeast, opposite the sun, not the southwest. By the way, the STS Summary Timeline has finally been updated at: http://www.ssd.bna.boeing.com/liftoff Craig Cholar 3432P@VM1.CC.NPS.NAVY.MIL Marina, California 36 41 10.3N, 121 48 17.9W (36.6862, -121.8050) UTC -8
