I went to the STS presskit page at http://www.ssd.bna.boeing.com/liftoff
to download the STS-89 mission timeline, but the "SUMMARY TIMELINE"
link there is still pointing to the one for STS-87. Thursday I sent .
e-mail to the webmaster asking for an updated timeline, but in the
mean time if anyone knows of another source please let me know.
The "STS-89 PRESS INFORMATION AND MISSION TIME LINE" link, while an
interesting read, doesn't contain the detail I want. On the other hand,
the "SUMMARY TIMELINE" is useful for determining when water dumps
are scheduled, if you don't mind using the Adobe Acrobat reader.
FYI: For shuttle observing tips, and info on the current mission visit:

BTW, I saw both Mir and STS-89 this morning, exiting shadow about 6.5
minutes apart, approx. 30 deg up in the SW. Both magnitudes were
close to Vega's, with the shuttle just slightly brighter than Mir.
