1999 Question

Dear SeeSat-ers:

I believe that the previous two EuroSOMs were held in October 1994 and
1996. I wonder if any plans have been made for EuroSOM-3? Specifically,
is there any chance that instead of the October 1998 date that simple
extrapolation would predict, it might be delayed until August 1999?
Or, alternately, might there be EuroSOM-4 that month?

Of course, I am referring to the total solar eclipse of that date which
will favor, among other places, central Europe. As a long time eclipse
chaser and also a satellite observer, I'd love to have two "excuses" to
visit Europe next year.

Clear and dark skies!
