"A reconfigured Minuteman II (MSLS) rocket was successfully launched from
Vandenberg Air Force Base Jan. 15th at 7:25 p.m. Pacific Standard
Time. For more details, click on the News Flash Icon. The next scheduled
launch at Vandenberg is a Taurus on Jan. 26th between 7:12
and 7:46 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. Call the launch update line at
(805) 734-8232, Ext. 6-1857 for the latest information."

This MSLS launched a target complex, which was observed by the sensors for the
Hughes Exo-atmospheric Kill Vehicle. The EKV sensors were launched on a
Lock-Mart PLV from Kwajalein Atoll. Initial indications are that both flights
were successful.
