Recent sightings of Iridium 27

As I understand, Iridium 27 rotates uncontrolled around some
still unknown axis. Is anybody attempting to calculate it?

I guess that for every pass there can be as many as three
different maximal strobes (one for each mirror). Has anybody
ever observed this?

Has anybody seen a recent pass without very bright (say,
brighter than 2m) strobes or is Iridium 27 kind of a guarantee for bright=

flares? (I would expect so, since a much wider
variety of sun-mirror-earth-angles are attained in a single
pass.)
