Well, I've taken a fancy to satellite tracking rather by chance and on my very
first attempt I saw the shuttle (STS-84) departing from the Mir station in May
97 right over my balcony in Berlin (using the tracking software STSPLUS by D.
Ransom).

I'm really intrigued by it since but I'm rather a newcomer, so I hope to get
some hints from the mailing list.
