        Here in Western Mass. we we pretty well defeated by cloud cover.  I
stoood shivering on the front lawn and saw nothing.  Afriend about 40 mi.
east of me reported his first shuttle sighting.  He had along a pair of
friends, one of whom was a youngster.  All three were ecstatic, especially
the youngster, who was very curious as to how Denis knew when and where to
look.  I think we may have some new bird-watchers up here!
