 FINNISH SATELLITE OBSERVATIONS
November 1994, Edited by Leo Wikholm

 MARKO MYLLYNIEMI, ILMAJOKI, FINLAND:

I have observed an unknown satellite which moved approximately
   from position (RA 3h 36min, Decl +51) to position (RA 3h 28m,
Decl +47). The date was November 6 and the time was 17.45 UT.
The satellite was visible at magnitude +4. Coordinates for
   Ilmajoki are 62.7N 22.5E.

Tracking info by Leo Wikholm: I used the marvelous SkyMap program
for tracking that unknown observation. It seems that the satellite
was Kosmos 650, 74-028A. Do you know what kind of satellite is
Kosmos 650. I have orbital data but I have not more information.

ANTERO OLKKONEN, RISTIINA, FINLAND:

I have made lot of satellite observations, mostly brightness
estimations, in November. The most interesting objects were NOSS 2-2
and NOSS 2-1, flying triangles. I have never seen them before
Nov 24. The formation was at magnitude +4, easily visible with naked
   eye.

CoBE (89-089A) varied with irregular period on Nov 25. It was at mag
+4 and the period was about 3 - 10 seconds.

USA 32 (88-078A) was at magnitude +5.5 on Nov 25. I also observed that
same satellite on Nov 30 at magnitude +6.5.

On November 26 I saw a very bright unknown satellite which moved two
degrees above Capella to the East (azimuths 300 to 90). The satellite
was at magnitude -2 and it was little yellowish. The time was
14.48.30 UT. Coordinates for Ristiina are 61.25N 27.30E.
