With 2 weeks still remaining, I can't make any location predictions. As far as I know the best prediction we'll have is a few hours before the deorbit we'll have an idea of the final orbit-track, but nothing beyond that. But if anyone would like to do any kind of simulations or anything like that and can share an expected reentry location, I'd be absolutely thrilled to see that! ________________________________ From: Andreas Hornig <andreas.hornig_at_aerospaceresearch.net> Sent: Tuesday, February 22, 2022 12:36 PM To: Thomas J Murphy Cc: seesat-l_at_satobs.org Subject: Re: DeMi 6U cubesat deorbiting soon Hi Thomas On Tue, Feb 22, 2022 at 4:28 PM Thomas J Murphy via Seesat-l <seesat-l_at_satobs.org<mailto:seesat-l_at_satobs.org>> wrote: I'm on the MIT team which built and operates the DeMi Cubesat. This spacecraft has been viewed by ground observers in the past. As we approach the end of the mission, our team would greatly appreciate if anyone could send us any photos you can get of DeMi. A photo of any reentry incandescence would be especially incredible to see, once that time comes. Any photos you produce can be sent to my email, tjmurphy (at) mit.edu<http://mit.edu>. Do you have information for us where you expect it to enter atmosphere? Maybe some of us live in this area.
