I'm on the MIT team which built and operates the DeMi Cubesat. It's a 6U deployed from the ISS July 13 2020. Its designators are 45916 and 1998-067RP. It's at 300 km now, and my modeling is indicating a deorbit on 2022-03-07, giving it just under 2 weeks of life left. This spacecraft has been viewed by ground observers in the past. As we approach the end of the mission, our team would greatly appreciate if anyone could send us any photos you can get of DeMi. A photo of any reentry incandescence would be especially incredible to see, once that time comes. Any photos you produce can be sent to my email, tjmurphy (at) mit.edu. Thanks all! _______________________________________________ Seesat-l mailing list http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-lReceived on Tue Feb 22 2022 - 09:31:29 UTC
