Last night the objects were in the evening sky and I was hoping for a nice bright display but that did not occur. The first group made roughly 42 degree elevation passes rising in the southwest and moving to the northeast around 1:45 UT on 27 February 2021. The first object was the brightest reaching naked eye brightness around magnitude 2 near Procyon. I watched about another eight that were faint in 7x50 binoculars so perhaps magnitude 5 with a full moon not helping. Since they seemed to be predominantly faint objects I quit observing the first group. The second group had a less favorable pass so I did not look at those. _______________________________________________ Seesat-l mailing list http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-lReceived on Sat Feb 27 2021 - 13:05:48 UTC
