What these numbers mean: http://www.satobs.org/position/IODformat.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I managed to measure the KMS-4 images after all: using Astrometrica, which I normally use for asteroid astrometry and telescopic imagery of geostationary objects, and taking advantage from the fact that the exposure time was so short that the stars are barely trailed on the image (otherwise it would have been impossible). Astrometrica is not made for wide field imagery, and the fit of the starfield might be slightly iffy as a result. However, the observations fit reasonably well with elset 16059.82861935, to within a few arcminutes. - Marco ----- Dr Marco Langbroek - SatTrackCam Leiden, the Netherlands. e-mail: sattrackcam_at_langbroek.org Cospar 4353 (Leiden): 52.15412 N, 4.49081 E (WGS84), +0 m ASL Cospar 4355 (Cronesteyn): 52.13878 N, 4.49937 E (WGS84), -2 m ASL Station (b)log: http://sattrackcam.blogspot.com Twitter: _at_Marco_Langbroek ----- _______________________________________________ Seesat-l mailing list http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-lReceived on Mon Feb 29 2016 - 09:32:47 UTC
